Children In Film Photo Contest Tip of the Month: As we mention in our KidStart Program, we recommend taking your own photos when you are starting out and seeking representation, especially if you're looking to save some money and/or if your child is under five. Use a digital camera and natural lighting to achieve great results. Get down to your child's level and try to capture a variety of natural expressions and direct eye contact. Once you have secured representation, ask your agent or manager for recommendations on good headshot photographers in your area or check the Children In Film Member Directory for highly rated photographers all over the US!

Basic Members: Remember, everyone is eligible to participate in the photo contest, but you won't be considered if we don't have a picture of you. The best way to participate is to upload an image into your profile as soon as you create your account. New Photos: If you've been a member for a while (basic or enhanced) and want to make sure your newest photo is being considered, send a JPEG to us at contest@childreninfilm.com Photo Tips: The CIF Kidstart Program has lots of great tips on taking good photos.
