Anna Kendrick, Ben Affleck and Many More at 28th Annual Artios Awards
Last Night's Artios Awards Honored Casting Directors, Including Members of Children In Film
As an award presenter at the 28th annual Artios Awards, former child star Anna Kendrick (noted as being the second youngest to ever win a Tony award) said something simple, yet profound: "Every actor has a casting director to thank for giving them their first chance."
The What to Expect When You're Expecting star was not alone, however, in her desires to truly thank the casting directors who helped her get her start. Host Nicole Sullivan (Cougar Town, Family Guy, True Jackson VP), presenters Armie Hammer (The Social Network, Mirror Mirror), Atticus Shaffer (The Middle, Frankenweenie), Jeremy Renner (The Hurt Locker, The Town), Director Michael Hoffman (One Fine Day), Cedrick the Entertainer and Career Achievement Award winner, Ben Affleck, all extended words of gratitude to the casting directors who filled the Beverly Hilton Hotel Ballroom.
Children In Film was honored to be in attendance and would like to extend a special congratulations to our members who took home awards...
