Dear Friends of Whole Grains,

We had a blast celebrating the 5th Annual Whole Grain Sampling Day with all of you this year! Nearly everywhere people went on March 30, there was encouragement to try more whole grains -- from the 70+ supermarket samplings across the US and Canada, to workplace potlucks and cooking classes.

On social media, nearly a dozen leading whole grain manufacturers, (including Bob's Red Mill, Hodgson Mills, and Lundberg Farms) offered generous product giveaways, and national restaurant chains, like Maggiano's, Corner Bakery Café, and California Pizza Kitchen, took to Twitter to nudge customers towards their whole grain offerings. In fact, thanks to all of the media buzz, the #SampleWholeGrains hashtag reached over 2 million accounts at its height.

For a behind the scenes look at how we celebrated our favorite holiday, be sure to check out our Whole Grain Sampling Day recap blog post. We hope that the excitement inspires you to make sampling new whole grains part of your regular routine, and not just a once a year affair!

UPDATE ON WHOLE GRAINS & HEART HEALTH
