Join Washington's beloved violin/piano duo of National Symphony Associate Concertmaster, Elisabeth Adkins and pianist Edward Newman in a musical celebration that honors Ms. Adkins, for her 31 years with the National Symphony as Associate Concertmaster, and the 20th Anniversary of the Adkins-Newman duo. The duo (and their children) will soon be moving to Texas, where Adkins has accepted a professorship at TCU in Forth Worth.

Beginning in Istanbul and continuing in Cappadocia, travelers will enjoy insider experiences of music, culture and history of Turkey, hear outstanding concerts in other-wordly settings as part of the Klasik Keyifler Cappadocia Music Festival, and for those who wish to play music, collaborate with Turkish young professionals and be coached by esteemed artist faculty members of Turkey, at the historic nexus of the traveler routes of the Silk Road.
