A yearly audience favorite, this concert will highlight a potpourri of short solos and duos for a variety of instruments and voice including compositions by Liszt, Morten Lauridsen, Mozart, Gaspar Cassado, Beethoven, Cesar Franck, Mario Casrelnuovo-Tedesco, Walter Piston, Ernest Bloch, Poulenc, Alan Hovhaness and Arvo Part.
Performers include pianists Haskell Small, Jaewon Lee, Maribeth Gowen, Dionne Laufman, Lydia Frumkin, Sana Lebedev; violinists Zina Gendel, Kathy Judd, Kevin Jang; violist George Ohlson; cellists, Danielle Cho, Deb Brudvig; flutists David Lonkevich, Virginia Nanzetta; guitarist Fred Wilchek; soprano Nancy Almquist; baritone Aurelius Gori.

Dr. Adkins and Mr. Newman are past Artists-In-Residence at the Washington Conservatory and Mr. Newman is currently a WCM piano faculty member. |

Washington Conservatory of Music at Klasik Keyifler invites you to join fellow music-loving travelers and adult amateur classical musicians and music teachers for a unique musical travel opportunity, with the option to play chamber music, too. Beginning in Istanbul and continuing in Cappadocia, travelers will enjoy insider experiences of music, culture and history of Turkey, hear outstanding concerts in other-wordly settings as part of the Klasik Keyifler Cappadocia Music Festival, and for those who wish to play music, collaborate with Turkish young professionals and be coached by esteemed artist faculty members of Turkey, at the historic nexus of the traveler routes of the Silk Road.
