TOUR AS A LISTENER OR AS A CHAMBER MUSICIAN

A tailor-made tour for travelers who enjoy listening to music - and those who like to make music, too...

Washington Conservatory of Music at Klasik Keyifler invites you to join fellow music-loving travelers and adult amateur classical musicians and music teachers for a unique musical travel opportunity, with the option to play chamber music, too.  Beginning in Istanbul and continuing in Cappadocia, travelers will enjoy insider experiences of the music, culture and history of Turkey, hear outstanding concerts in other-worldly settings as part of the Klasik Keyifler Cappadocia Music Festival, and for those who wish to play music, collaborate with Turkish young professionals and be coached by esteemed artist faculty members of Turkey, at the historic nexus of the travel routes of the Silk Road.  (Musicians minimum age 18. Listeners minimum age 16, if accompanied by Listener Adult.)

AUGUST
1st - 11th

Washington Conservatory of Music
at Klasik Keyifler

"Presenting concerts in the context of these historical settings can stimulate the listener to use the imagination to comprehend this abstract music and transport the listener beyond everyday experiences. We're playing for fun, which is the nature of chamber music.
