Greetings!
This is not our normal message; it's a one-time request.
Normally, our messages are about our free musical events - concerts by world-class guest artists and artist faculty members. Or you are informed of free family concerts and special musical events at Glen Echo Park - like a musical instrument "petting zoo" for kids. Once in a while, I pass on especially good news about the Conservatory, or share conversations with performers.
Over the years, I have come to know many of you. You are music students, neighbors, concert goers, friends, colleagues in the arts, people who are retired, who work in every imaginable field, and are fans of all types of music. You live near Washington DC, across the United States and around the world. You are diverse in every possible way.
But, you all share an important common value: you value the arts. You know the importance of excellent live musical experiences. You understand why communities must have outstanding music education for people of all ages and financial means.
So, once a year I ask for your support.
Just as you see "please give as you can" baskets at our free concerts, I am asking you to please give as you can, to help the Washington Conservatory - a nationally accredited "no-audition" community music school - continue to bring outstanding live music and fine music education to the Greater Bethesda and Washington DC community.
Thank you for taking a moment to consider this request. Every gift is tax-deductible, makes a difference, and is very much appreciated!
By mail: Please make checks payable to Washington Conservatory, 1 Westmoreland Circle, Bethesda, MD 20816
Musically Yours,
Kathy Judd Executive & Artistic Director P.S. To see what your gift supports please visit our website and see the list of concerts below.
