The Filters of Faith The Object of Satanic Distraction


Introduction: Glasses: Blue or Pink Lenses From the Moment you enter the Church the Devil is working the crowd to distract, to put to sleep, to cause doubt, to reject the truth!

Consider the time of the end of the service where a call for a decision is being given and the children get restless or a drink is spilled.

Consider the moment an important text and explanation is being given and someone will get up and go to the bathroom or get up to get a drink.

Consider the times you really needed to hear a Word from God and some doubter leaves the church to enter the fellowship dinner and begins immediately to dismantle the message with statements of doubt or stories where they believed but did not obtain an answer.

James Reveals Filters of Doubt and Duplicity:

But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.
For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord.
A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.

10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

Philippians 4:6King James Version (KJV)
6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.

3309 merimnáō (from 3308 /mérimna, "a part, as opposed to the whole") - properly, drawn in opposite directions; "divided into parts" (A. T. Robertson); (figuratively) "to go to pieces" because pulled apart (in different directions), like the force exerted by sinful anxiety (worry).

(Note)When someone says: Be Careful... rebuke the enemy by finishing their statement with "for nothing!"

James 4:7King James Version (KJV)
Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

Let me rebuke the devil in you now....

If God said it that settles it.

I.E. The Doctors, the Lawyers, the Judges, The Politicians, the Economy, The state of my body, the my preacher says, the my church believes...the ....but you don't understands!
Resist the devil and see the salvation of our God.

20And in the morning, as they passed by, they saw the fig tree dried up from the roots. 21And Peter calling to remembrance saith unto him, Master, behold, the fig tree which thou cursedst is withered away. 22And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God. 23For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. 24Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.

In Closing....

You know the devil is seeking to keep you from having God's promises!

55Is not this the carpenter's son? is not his mother called Mary? and his brethren, James, and Joses, and Simon, and Judas? 56And his sisters, are they not all with us? Whence then hath this man all these things? 57And they were offended in him. But Jesus said unto them, A prophet is not without honour, save in his own country, and in his own house. 58And he did not many mighty works there because of their unbelief.

Even Jesus could not do mighty works among the unbelieving... Repent and Believe!
