The Prologue (Passion Version)
Proverbs 1: 8 - 33
The Wisdom of a Father
8 Pay close attention, my child, to your father's wise words and never forget your mother's instructions. 9 For their insight will bring you success, adorning you with grace-filled thoughts and giving you reins to guide your decisions. 10 When peer pressure compels you to go with the crowd and sinners invite you to join in, you must simply say, "No!" 11 When the gang says, "We're going to steal and kill and get away with it. 12We'll take down the rich and rob them. We'll swallow them up alive and take what we want from whomever we want. 13 Then we'll take their treasures and fill our homes with loot. 14 So come on and join us. Take your chance with us. We'll divide up all we get- we'll each end up with big bags of cash!" 15 My son, refuse to go with them and stay far away from them. 16 For crime is their way of life and bloodshed their specialty. 17 To be aware of their snare is the best way of escape. 18 They'll resort to murder to steal their victim's assets, but eventually it will be their own lives that are ambushed. 19 In their ungodly disrespect for God they bring destruction on their own lives.
Wisdom's Warning
20 Wisdom's praises are sung in the streets and celebrated far and wide. 21 Yet wisdom's song is not always heard in the halls of higher learning. But in the hustle and bustle of everyday life its lyrics can always be heard above the din of the crowd. If you will hear wisdom's warning as she preaches courageously to those who stop to listen: 22" Foolish ones, how much longer will you cling to your deception? How much longer will you mock wisdom, cynical scorners who fight the facts? 23 Come back to your senses and be restored to reality. Don't even think about refusing my rebuke! Don't you know that I'm ready you to pour out my spirit of wisdom upon you and bring to you the revelation of my words that will make your heart wise? 24 I've called to you over and over still you refuse to come to me. I've pleaded with you again and again, yet you've turned a deaf ear to my voice. 25 Because you have laughed at my counsel and have insisted on continuing in your stubbornness, 26 I will laugh when your calamity comes and will turn away from you at the time of your disaster. Make a joke of my advice, will you? Then I'll make a joke out of you! 27 When the storm clouds of terror gather over your head, when dread and distress consume you and your catastrophe comes like a hurricane, 28 you will cry out to me, but I won't answer. Then it will be too late to expect my help. When desperation drives you to search for me, I will be nowhere to be found. 29Because you have turned up your nose at me and closed your eyes to the facts and refused to worship me in awe-30 because you scoffed at my wise counsel and laughed at my correction- 31 Now you will eat the bitter fruit of your own ways. You've made your own bed; now lie in it! So how do you like that? 32 Like an idiot you've turned away from me and chosen destruction instead. Your self-satisfied smugness will kill you. 33 But the one who always listens to me will live undisturbed in a heavenly peace. Free from fear, confident and courageous, you will rest unafraid and sheltered from the storms of life."

Introduction:
Devastating Lies that get injected into society
Higher education says man comes from Monkeys! What happens when people buy that Lie?
- When you rid yourself of the truth that there is a Creator your Rid yourself of the Divine Design!
- When you rid yourself of the truth of Divine Design, you rid yourself of Divine Purpose!
- When you rid yourself of Divine Purpose, You get rid of accountability!
- When you get rid of accountability, you rid yourself of the need to give an answer for your choices.
- When you destroy the concept that everyone has to give an account for their lives, you have completely dismantled the fear of God.
The Fear of God ... The Beginning of Wisdom
Proverbs 9: 9 - 11
9 Give instruction to a wise man and he will be still wiser, Teach a righteous man and he will increase his learning. 10 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom, and the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding. 11 For by me your days will be multiplied, and years of life will be added to you....
God reveals His wrath against all ungodliness
Romans 1: 18
18 For God in heaven unveils his holy anger breaking forth against every form of sin, both toward ungodliness that lives in hearts and evil actions. For the wickedness of humanity deliberately smothers the truth and keeps people from acknowledging the truth about God. 19 In reality, the truth of God is known instinctively, for God has embedded this knowledge inside every human heart. 20 Opposition to truth cannot be excused on the basis of ignorance, ad because from the creation of the world, the invisible qualities of God's nature have been made visible, such as his eternal power and transcendence. He has made his wonderful attributes easily perceived, for seeing the visible makes us understand the invisible. So then, this leaves everyone without excuse. 21 Throughout human history the fingerprints of God were upon them, yet they refused to honor him as God or even be thankful for his kindness. Instead, they entertained corrupt and foolish thoughts about what God was like. This left them with nothing but misguided hearts, steeped in moral darkness. 22 Although claiming to be super-intelligent, they were in fact shallow fools.al 23 For only a fool would trade the unfading splendor of the immortal God to worship the fading image of other humans, idols made to look like people, animals, birds, and even creeping reptiles! 24 This is why God lifted off his restraining hand and let them have full expression of their sinful and shameful desires. They were given over to moral depravity, dishonoring their bodies by sexual perversion among themselves- 25 all because they traded the truth of God for a lie. They worshiped and served the things God made rather than the God who made all things- glory and praises to him for eternity of eternities! Amen! 26- 27 For this reason God gave them over to their own disgraceful and vile passions. Enflamed with lust for one another, men and women ignored the natural order and exchanged normal sexual relations for homosexuality. Women engaged in lesbian conduct, and men committed shameful acts with men, receiving in themselves the due penalty for their deviation. 28 And because they thought it was worthless to embrace the true knowledge of God, God gave them over to a worthless mind-set, to break all rules of proper conduct. 29 Their sinful lives became full of every kind of evil, at wicked schemes, greed, and cruelty. Their hearts overflowed with jealous cravings, and with conflict and strife, which drove them into hateful arguments and murder. They are deceitful liars full of hostility. They are gossips 30 who love to spread malicious slander. With inflated egos they hurl hateful insults at God, yet they are nothing more than arrogant boasters. They are rebels against their parents and totally immoral. 31 They are senseless, faithless, ruthless, heartless, and completely merciless. 32 Although they are fully aware of God's laws and proper order, and knowing that those who do all of these things deserve to die, yet they still go headlong into darkness, encouraging others to do the same and applauding them when they do!
