gina yashere

has been a stand up and TV star in the UK for
several years, with appearances on iconic TV shows such as Live At The Apollo & Mock The Week.  She broke onto the American comedy scene with her appearances on Last Comic Standing (NBC), where she made it to the final 10.  She is also known in the US for her regular, hilarious appearances on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno (NBC), as Madame Yashere, The Surly Psychic. 

Gina hails from London via Nigerian parents and her unique take on being both a cultural insider and outsider never fails to raise the roof.  She's released a critically acclaimed DVD, titled "Skinny B*tch" and her TV appearances have included her own one-hour stand-up special "Skinny B*tch" (Showtime), "The Tonight Show with Conan O'Brien" (NBC), "Chelsea Lately" (E!), "Live at Gotham" (Comedy Central), "Def Comedy Jam" (HBO) and "Comics Unleashed" (CBS).

She's won her 4th award in a row for "Best Female Comedian" at the recent Black Entertainment and Comedy Awards (UK).

She has also performed numerous times at the prestigious Just For Laughs Comedy Festival in Montreal and Toronto, and at HBO and TBS's The Comedy Festival in Las Vegas and she recently released her follow up DVD ,'Laughing To America' which was shot in front of a sold out audience in San Francisco.

 

 

 

 

sachi ezura

is a comedian, writer and producer in New York City. After graduating from Harvard, Sachi decided to disappoint her parents by pursuing a career in comedy.  She currently works as a producer on MTV's Girl Code and co-wrote the book Girl Code: A Single Girl's Guide to Sex & Dating, available at Urban Outfitters. She has performed stand-up and improv in festivals around the country including the Bridgetown Comedy Festival, Del Close Marathon and Chicago Improv Festival.

christian finnegan

is best known as one of the original panelists on VH1's "Best Week Ever" and as Chad, the only white roommate in the infamous "Mad Real World" sketch of "Chappelle's Show."  He can currently be seen on the TBS sitcom "Are We There Yet?" and on History Channel's "I Love the 1880's." Over the past decade, Christian has been a fixture on Comedy Central, having starred in his own one hour stand up special "Au Contraire," as well as "Comedy Central Presents," "Tough Crowd with Colin Quinn" and countless network interstitials. He's also appeared on "Conan," "The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson," "Good Afternoon America," and "The Today Show."  Christian's latest comedy special, "The Fun Part" was released on Netflix in April 2014.  He also hosts a music geek podcast called "Audio Spackle" for Cave Comedy Radio.

 

 

 

harrison greenbaum

is one of Comedy Central's "Comics to Watch," Harrison has also received many awards and honors for his comedy, including the Andy Kaufman Award in 2010 for creativity and originality in comedy, the Shorty Award in collaboration with Comedy Central and the New York Comedy Festival for "Best Emerging Comic" (2011), and the Magners Comic Stand-Off (2011).  On television, Harrison has performed on AXS.TV's Gotham Comedy Live, was a regular panelist on CurrentTV's Viewpoint, and was the warm-up comic for Katie, Katie Couric's daytime talk show on ABC.  Harrison also headlines comedy clubs around the country, including sold-out shows at TBS Just for Laughs Chicago and the legendary Carolines on Broadway (leading Punchline Magazine to name Harrison one of the "Breakout Artists" of the year). 

 

jeff lawrence

is the founder and director of Laughing Buddha Comedy and has appeared on the front pages of the Wall Street Journal, as well as the Tampa Bay Times.  He has also been mentioned in the New York Daily News, Time Out New York, Next Magazine, and GALA Magazine. He has performed in the NY Underground Comedy Festival, The Stand Up 360 Festival, and the Laughing Devil Comedy Festival. 

 

damien lemon

is a Brooklyn native who performs at clubs and colleges all over the U.S. and can be seen on MTV2's "Guy Code" and "Russell Simmons presents The Ruckus" on Comedy Central.  Damien has opened for Dick Gregory at Caroline's, Aretha Franklin at Radio City Music Hall and performed at Pharrell Williams' Kidult Leadership Conference.   He was chosen as a "New Face" at 2013's Montreal Just For Laughs comedy festival, and he was a featured performer on Whitney Cummings' gala show, which aired on HBO.  He is the creator and star of the hit web series "D. Lemon in the Morning."

 

carmen lynch

has performed on "The Late Show with David Letterman," Comedy Central's "Premium Blend," and was featured on HBO's U.S. Comedy Arts Festival in Aspen. Carmen made her network debut as one of the top 20 comics on the first season of "Last Comic Standing" on NBC, and was recently featured in the show's seventh season. She has freelanced with MAD Magazine and was chosen as one of the "Hot Comics of 2010" by Campus Activities Magazine. Carmen has also appeared on SiTV's "Latino Laugh Festival" and toured as one of the Latinas of Comedy with Paul Rodriguez.

 

sheng wang

has toured with the Comedians of Comedy and American Eagle's 'Campus Comedy Challenge.' He has also appeared on Comedy Central's 'Live at Gotham' and attended the 'Just for Laughs' comedy festival in Montreal.  Wang's half hour Comedy Central special aired in 2011.  NBC also awarded him with a holding deal that same year.  His set on the John Oliver NY Stand Up Show aired in August of 2012.  Sheng's recent TV appearances include Totally Biased with W. Kamau Bell and Late Night with Jimmy Fallon.

jared logan

 has appeared in his own half hour stand-up special on Comedy Central.  Recently, he was seen every week as a cast member on VH1's Best Week Ever and on his web series "Don't You Think" on YouTube.  He's been featured on TBS's The Pete Holmes Show, Comedy Central's The Meltdown and was a delegate for Comedy Central's Indecision 2012.

hari kondabolu

has been described by Timeout NY as "smart, analytical and rising." He was most recently a writer and correspondent for FX's Totally Biased with W. Kamau Bell.  He has done standup on the Late Show with David Letterman , Conan ,Jimmy Kimmel Live, Live at Gotham and John Oliver's New York Standup Show. His Comedy Central Presents half-hour television special debuted on the network in February 2011. He has also performed at such notable festivals as South by Southwest, Bumbershoot, Sasquatch and Just for Laughs in Montreal and Chicago.  Hari has been profiled on NPR's Morning Editon and was one of Flavorwire's 50 Up and Coming New York Culture Makers to Watch in 2013.  When in New York City, he co-hosts the mostly improvised talk show The Untitled Kondabolu Brothers Project with his younger brother Ashok ("Dap" from hip hop group Das Racist) and their podcast The Untitled Kondabolu Brothers Podcast.

 

matteo lane

has been profiled by the NYTimes, NYT Magazine, Time-Out NY, in NY Press' "Off Color Comedy," AM-NY's "Go Underground," and the 2004 Humor Issue of The New Yorker "On the Bark."  He is a New York-based comedian, originally from Chicago.  Before starting stand up, Matteo lived in Italy as an oil painter and Opera singer.  After realizing that he can't become Maria Callas, Matteo began telling jokes to strangers in dark rooms.  

 

jon laster

has been signed to a one-year talent holding deal with NBCUniversal.  He is a New York City-based comedian who originally hails from Denver Colorado. Jon has taped three season's of BET's Comic View, hosted the first and second Underground Comedy Festival held in New York City, completed a one year tour with the NACA showcase, and will soon appear on Comedy Central's Premium Blend. 

 

joe machi

has appeared on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon and was a new face at the 2012 Just for Laughs Festival in Montreal.  He is currently one of the semi-finalists of NBC's "Last Comic Standing."  In  2010  Machi  won  the  NY  Underground  Comedy  Festival's  Emerging  Comic's Contest.  Three  months  later he was  a  finalist  in  the  New  York  Comedy  Festivals  NY's  Funniest Person Competition.  In 2011,  he was profiled  in  the  NY  Daily  News  for  making  the  Elite  Eight    in  Caroline's  March Madness Final Four Competition.   He is a regular on Fox's "RedEye." 

  

liz miele

has been profiled by the NYTimes, NYT Magazine, Time-Out NY, in NY Press' "Off Color Comedy," AM-NY's "Go Underground," and the 2004 Humor Issue of The New Yorker "On the Bark."  Liz started doing stand-up at 16 and now at 26 she is the creator and star of the weekly web series "apt C3" and animated web series "Damaged."  She is a regular at some of the best comedy clubs in New York City.  Her stand-up has been featured on Comedy Central's "Live at Gotham," Comedy Central's "Root of all Evil" Promo, Late Night with Conan O'Brien, the Daily Show with Jon Stewart, and Covergirl.com's "Stand-up for Beauty with Ellen Degeneres."

 2010 "Last Comic Stand­ing" final­ist, Myq has appeared in his own half-hour "Comedy Central Presents" special, as well as, on "The Tonight Show with Conan O'Brien," "The Late Show with David Letterman," "The Late, Late Show with Craig Ferguson" and Comedy Central's "Live at Gotham."   He's performed at the New Faces show of the 2009 "Just For Laughs Festival" in Montreal and was voted 2008's "Best Local Comedian" in the Boston Phoenix.  The Come­di­ans mag­a­zine calls him "a com­edy machine."   His debut comedy album "Vegan Mind Meld" was one of iTunes' top ten best-selling com­edy albums in 2010, followed by "Meat Robot" in 2013 and "Small Dork and Handsome" in 2014. Myq has his own podcast "Hang Out With Me" on the Keith and The Girl network. 

anthony devito

is a NYC-based comedian, actor and writer.  A UCB Theater vet, Devito performs stand-up, character and sketch comedy all over New York City.

 

sean donnelly

is a Montreal Just For Laughs "New Face" from 2013.  He can be found headlining clubs all over New York, including Caroline's, Gotham, Stand Up NY, and The Stand. He has appeared on MTV's "World of Jenks" and "The Late Show with David Letterman." Sean was a Comic Stand-Off finalist at the 2010 Magners Comedy Festival, performed at the Bridgetown Comedy Festival in 2011 and 2012, was a semi-finalist in the 2012 Boston Comedy Festival competition, and performed at Comedy Central's 2013 South Beach Comedy Festival.  Sean can be seen regularly on the TruTV series "World's Dumbest" and on the forthcoming season of "Adam Devine's House Party" on Comedy Central

 

ophira eisenberg

is the host of NPR's and WNYC's new weekly trivia, puzzle, and game show Ask Me Another. She recently performed on The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson. She's also appeared on Comedy Central, VH-1, The Today Show, TV Guide Channel's Standup In Stilettos, Fox, E! Channel, CNN, Oxygen Network, and the AXS Network. Back in Canada, she appeared in her very own comedy special for CTV's Comedy Now.  Her debut memoir, Screw Everyone: Sleeping My Way to Monogamy (Seal Press, April 2nd, 2013) is available now and was recently optioned for a feature film.  She tours with The Moth and you can see her host one of their monthly Slams on the 3rd Thursday of every month at Housingworks Bookstore Cafe in Soho, NY. 

 

monroe martin

is a fast rising comedy star.  Monroe mines laughs from an unusual source - growing up in foster care and being moved from one dysfunctional home to another. With a very honest, open approach to storytelling and an engaging personality, Monroe effortlessly turns his childhood of hard knock experiences into comedy gold.  Monroe performs all over the country and has appeared on "The Artie Lange Show" on DirecTV and will be seen on the second season of "Adam Devine's House Party" on Comedy Central as well as the third season of "Gotham Live" on AXS TV. He also wrote for the MTV2 series "Charlamagne and Friends."  You can currently catch Monroe as a finalist on NBC's "Last Comic Standing."

 

sam morril

is a rising comic who has been named a 2011 "Comic to Watch" by Comedy Central.  He won March Madness 2010 at Comix.  In addition, he's performed in a Friars Roast, was featured in a 4-page spread in the Daily News as "one of the four funniest in New York" and won the Laughing Skull Festival in Atlanta, beating out over 600 applicants. You can see Sam regularly on MSG's "The Bracket," "Red Eye" on Fox News, and he recently taped a stand-up set for Comedy Central on the second season of "Adam Devine's House Party."

 

sasheer zamata

is a SNL cast member.  Before landing on SNL, Sasheer was featured in sketches on FX's "Totally Biased With W. Kamau Bell" and Comedy Central's "Inside Amy Schumer."  A veteran of the UCB Theater, where she still performs with comedy team BUCKY and Doppelganger, she also performs, writes and directs comedy videos for her webseries, "Pursuit of Sexiness."

Reggie was featured as "Hot Comedian" in Rolling Stone's Hot Issue 2010, named SPIN Magazine's "Best New Comedian" and "Best of CMJ" 2010, and a featured profile in GQ's Man Of The Year issue 2010. kevin avery

writes for HBO's "Last Week Tonight with John Oliver," also had the distinction of being the head writer on the critically acclaimed FX original series "Totally Biased with W. Kamau Bell."   Additionally he wrote, starred in and executive produced the award-winning short film, "Thugs, The Musical."  Kevin has been praised by the Oakland Tribune for his "sharp-witted" style and "impressive physical comedy." Of his animated style of stand up and storytelling, the San Francisco Chronicle raves, "Avery is Amazing!" His debut comedy CD, Hardcore, recorded live at the Punchline in San Francisco, is available on iTunes and at RoofTopComedy.com 

 

adam newman

was named one of Comedy Central's Comics to Watch in 2010.  He was a finalist in the New York Comedy Contest, "NY's Funniest," and for the "Andy Kaufman Award". He's also been featured in Time Out NY and the NY Daily News.  Adam has appeared in countless CollegeHumor original videos, MTV's "The CollegeHumor Show" and FNMTV, Comedy Central's Atom TV, ESPN's NFL Writer's Room, and The Tyra Banks Show. His stand-up credits include performances at the New Orleans Comedy Arts Festival, North Carolina's Laugh Your Asheville Off Festival, Atlanta's Laughing Skull Festival, Just for Laughs Chicago and the New York Comedy Festival.  Adam's critically acclaimed debut stand-up CD "Not For Horses" was released last July. He hosts the popular "Big Long Sets" at NYC's Upright Citizen's Brigade Theater, and "Butt Talk," the world's #1 Number 2 podcast. His own web series "My Dad is in a Boy Band," was recently released by The Warner Sound and featured on the Today Show.  

 

phoebe robinson

recently made her television debut on TV Guide's "100 Shows to See Before You Die." She was also a finalist in NBC's Stand Up for Diversity competition and was a part of their college tour, which traveled the USA. She has performed in the New York Underground Comedy Festival, Bridgetown Comedy Festival and for the second straight year, she appeared in the Women in Comedy Festival. Her writing has been published in the New York Times and most recently, she became a blogger for the Huffington Post.

 

nick vatterott

as a 2011 recipient of the prestigious Andy Kaufman award, Nick's fearless inclination to be "confidently abstract," has made him a favorite among peers and Just for Laughs: New Faces 2010, Chicago Magazine's "Funniest Man in Chicago." Writer for MTV's "What Was I Thinking?" he's performed on "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon," and was a featured comedian in the "Breakout Artist Series" in the New York Comedy Festival.  He has his own stand-up special for Comedy Central and produced and performed in Comedy Central's series, Mash Up.  Nick has toured with Chicago's storied Second City and his sketch group 'Heavyweight' has performed at Second City's Unhinged and the Toronto Just for Laughs Festival. 

 

gary vider 

is a New York City based comedian who recently made his stand up TV debut on CONAN. His jokes have been published in the New York Times and Time Out NY Magazine. He was named a "Comic to Watch" by Esquire and was the winner of the 2014 Carolines on Broadway March Madness competition where he beat out 63 of the best young comedians.
