Join Kol Ami for a delicious, kosher Passover feast. Enjoy new recipes and old friends! Each year, we make a special effort to celebrate the second night of Passover together, as a community.
It's a time for us to remember our traditions, share memories of Passovers past and look forward to the future that lies ahead. As we turn the corner into our 25th year together, let's sit across the table from one another to celebrate our heritage and our home.
Enrich the conversation around your Seder table and check out RAC's resources on a Racial Justice during Passover.

Forgiveness does not just happen, it requires our active attention. Nor is forgiveness easy; if it were maybe it wouldn't seem so rare.
Student Rabbi Michael Shefrin and Larry Levi, MFT, invite you to an evening workshop for those who are seeking to cultivate more forgiveness in their lives.
Tuesday April 19th at 7:30 PM or directly after the Minyan.
We will do some studying together, create some healing artwork, and have a brief discussion. Also, we will work with participants individually to find paths to forgiveness, of other and ourselves.
Call the temple or email Stacy at staff@kol-ami.org to RSVP for this program. This program is free to all Kol Ami members. A suggested $10 donation for non-members.
Michael Shefrin was born and raised in Los Angeles and is finishing his final year of rabbinic training at Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion. Michael has served as a student rabbi at Congregation B'nai David in Visalia and as rabbinic intern at Stephen S. Wise Temple in Bel Air as well as the Santa Monica Synagogue.
He was recently ordained in May of 2016.Today, he finds fulfillment by helping people connect to their spirituality and elevate their lives and the world around us through Judaism
Temple member, Larry Levi, works as a psychotherapist specializing in healing trauma and grief support. Larry works with clients who often seek forgiveness in his practice as a licensed psychotherapist, but this group is not group therapy, it is time for Jewish self-exploration.

Congregation Kol Ami needs your help to raise funds for the children living in Guatemala. Funds that pay for housing, education and medical treatments. On our annual mission trip, our members have met families that have touched their hearts. These connections remained top of the mind throughout the year.
Imagine building a home for a family to provide shelter and safety.
Imagine a child walking again with the aid of prostheses and a young girl smiling for the first time after surgery for a cleft palate.
Imagine sponsoring an entire year of education for more than a dozen children.
It is our goal to return this year with the ability to make an even larger impact than before. Donate to our Tikkun Olam service trip and help us improve the Lives of the Children in Guatemala
Our goal is to raise $5,500. and with your help this great mitzvah is possible.
Give now to be the lasting difference in a child's life.
