We can't wait for our Purim Shpiel this year!
As always, we're proud of the performers who make it so much fun. And we're very proud of the song adaptions that our Musical Director, Jeremy Gimbel has put together.
This show is going to be A-MAZ-ING and we don't want you to miss it! Since it starts at 7 PM with our Shabbat service, you can watch the live stream from home if you're unable to be here in person.
If you are here, at 7 PM, in person, then you'll get to enjoy the hamantashen, the jokes, the music, and the people. It's going to be so much fun!!
Did we mention it starts at 7 PM?

Kol Ami presents a free screening of HAVANA CURVEBALL
Thursday, March 31st at 7:30 PM
This heart-warming coming-of-age story tells of an ordinary American teenager who faces extraordinary challenges when he decides his Bar Mitzvah service project will be donating equipment to young baseball players in Cuba. This beautifully lensed film takes viewers on a deeply felt journey that shows just how difficult and complex it can be to do a simple good deed.
As Kol Ami prepares for its congregational mission trip to Cuba, the story of a young Jewish man who only wants to help, but finds out how surprisingly difficult that can be is an eye-opening opportunity for discussion and discovery.

Congregation Kol Ami needs your help to raise funds for the children living in Guatemala. Funds that pay for housing, education and medical treatments. On our annual mission trip, our members have met families that have touched their hearts. These connections remained top of the mind throughout the year.
Imagine building a home for a family to provide shelter and safety.
Imagine a child walking again with the aid of prostheses and a young girl smiling for the first time after surgery for a cleft palate.
Imagine sponsoring an entire year of education for more than a dozen children.
It is our goal to return this year with the ability to make an even larger impact than before. Donate to our Tikkun Olam service trip and help us improve the Lives of the Children in Guatemala
Our goal is to raise $5,500. and with your help this great mitzvah is possible.
Give now to be the lasting difference in a child's life.

Building a Greater Los Angeles
Habitat for Humanity of Greater Los Angeles is FINALLY building homes in Culver City!
Join us on March 30th from 10:00am-11:00am to celebrate this tremendous partnership and find out what ways your synagogue or Jewish institution can get involved in this project.
We are so excited to be finally be building homes in West LA and are really hoping that our Jewish partners will come together to support us in our efforts to address the poverty housing crisis here in LA. And, as you may already know, this is truly a crisis.
With the market here in LA being so unaffordable, and with funds for affordable homes in Los Angeles having been cut by half a billion dollars since 2008, many families are forced to live in substandard housing. Habitat attempts to combat this by building safe, decent, and affordable homes for low-income families in need.
These ten homes in Culver City are just one part of our Building a Greater Los Angeles Campaign, where will be investing $100 million over the next five years to serve 1,000 families in cities such as Inglewood, South LA, Culver City, and Long Beach.
RSVP by March 25th to events@habitatla.org.
