The Voice of My People Foundation is offering two new scholarship opportunities!

The Voice of My People Scholarship grants are meant to support students who identify as LGBTQ, or whose parent(s) identify as LGBTQ, and are committed to social justice and making strides in creating a more fair and just world.

The application process opened January 1, 2016. We will accept the first 50 qualifying applications in the order in which they were received, or until March 15, 2016, whichever comes first.

If you would like to support these incredible students, either individually or through a corporate sponsorship, please contact Sadie at srosestern@kol-ami.org or call 323-606-0996.

This Friday night, Rabbi Eger breaks down how the Kotel Compromise affects Israel's future.

On January 31st, the Israeli government created an egalitarian and pluralistic prayer space at the Western Wall. The deal allows for mixed-gender, egalitarian services at a part of the Western Wall called Robinson's Arch. Robinson's Arch is an archaeological site next to the traditional prayer area.

Visitors will be able to choose between an all-male section, an all-female section and the new egalitarian section, where anyone can pray however they choose.

As Rabbi Eger wrote in the Jewish Journal

"For the first time, the Israeli government recognized the
authentic ritual and religious needs of those of us who
believe in egalitarian prayer and women's equality."

"It is a time for singing and rejoicing!"

You won't want to miss this very important and informative sermon, "The Kotel: The Western Wall Victory and the Battle for Israel's Soul."
The dinner serves a major AIPAC annual fundraiser limited to those who are interested in becoming more involved with AIPAC at a club level (club membership starts at $1,800/year).
