This Friday night, Rabbi Eger breaks down how the Kotel Compromise affects Israel's future.
On January 31st, the Israeli government created an egalitarian and pluralistic prayer space at the Western Wall. The deal allows for mixed-gender, egalitarian services at a part of the Western Wall called Robinson's Arch. Robinson's Arch is an archaeological site next to the traditional prayer area.
Visitors will be able to choose between an all-male section, an all-female section and the new egalitarian section, where anyone can pray however they choose.
"For the first time, the Israeli government recognized the
authentic ritual and religious needs of those of us who
believe in egalitarian prayer and women's equality."
"It is a time for singing and rejoicing!"
You won't want to miss this very important and informative sermon, "The Kotel: The Western Wall Victory and the Battle for Israel's Soul."
