My name is Jordan Markovic. I am a graduate student working on my Masters in Education and my MBA in Nonprofit Management from American Jewish University. I grew up in Los Angeles, going to school at Pressman Academy and to services at Temple Beth Am, and after having worked in education, specifically as the Religious School Coordinator for Ikar the last two years, I wanted to expand my horizons and do work that was more centralized around social justice. For that reason and many more, becoming the new Faith Relations Coordinator for Habitat for Humanity of Greater Los Angeles was a perfect fit. I am excited to speak with you at Shabbat Services, this Friday, Jan. 29 at 8 PM!
Jewish synagogues across greater Los Angeles are joining together in 2016 with Habitat for Humanity of Greater Los Angeles (Habitat LA) to build decent, sustainable and affordable homes with hardworking, low-income families and individuals throughout
Greater Los Angeles!
As a part of the Jewish Coalition, Kol Ami members are invited to a work site luncheon on Sunday, Janurary 31st from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM. The location is 573 Hyde Park, Inglewood, CA 90302. RSVP by January 27th to jmarkovic@habitatla.org

If you are interested in participating in any way (singing, acting, choreography, set design, etc.), contact Student Rabbi & Music Director Jeremy Gimbel at jgimbel@kol-ami.org.
