The new system is a significant improvement in both audio and video quality over our previous system, so if you haven't seen the new broadcast, you haven't seen us. Click here to watch live.

We are so proud to announce the Voice of My People Scholarship Grants!
These grants are meant to support students who are committed to social justice and making strides in creating a more fair and just world.
Our first scholarships, available for the school year 2016-2017, are 2 Papel Family Trust scholarships at $2,500 each.  These 2 grants are specifically designated to support students who identify as LGBTQ, or whose parent(s) identify as LGBTQ.

The application process opens January 1 - in the spring 2016 funding cycle, we will accept the first 50 qualifying applications in the order in which they were received, or until March 15, 2016, whichever comes first. The top 10 candidates will be informed of the second tier review process late May 2016.

We are hopeful we will secure additional donations in future years resulting in additional scholarship grants. If you would like to support these incredible students, either individually or through a corporate sponsorship, please contact Sadie at srosestern@kol-ami.org or call 323-606-0996.

Who Are Jew? An exploration of our spiritual, emotional, and communal aspects of our Jewish identities.

Who are Jew? There are so many things that make up our Jewish identities: spirituality, being in community, ritual, commitment to social justice, music, Israel...the list goes on and on. At Kol Ami's adult retreat, we will explore who we are, who we want to become, and how we, as individuals and a community, can get there. And of course, we will have fun, taking advantage of the gorgeous campus of the Brandeis-Bardin Institute in Simi Valley. This adult retreat will also feature sessions planned by each Pillar of our Congregation. The whole community will be involved.

Join us for this exciting weekend on May 20-22, 2016!
Registration opening in January of 2016.
