ATTENTION: Kol Ami is now volunteering at SOVA twice a month! Starting August 1st, we will be having volunteer groups on two Sundays a month, the second Sunday (our usual time) and now also the third Sunday of every month!  The beautiful prayers of Selichot herald the themes and melodies of the coming High Holidays. Throughout our history, Selichot has been about expressing our worries, our fears and our hopes for the future. During this time, Jewish communities around the world find hope and comfort in their faith and in each other.
Following Havdalah, we'll be screening the award-winning movie, Nicky's Family, about Sir Nicholas Winton's 1939 rescue and relocation of 669 endangered Jewish children from Czechoslovakia to Britain. We will then have a musical service, under the stars, on our rooftop deck. Bring your family and friends to this meaningful service and go home inspired and ready for a joyous New Year. |

Donate your used On Wings of Awe Machzor to our Sister Synagogue, Adat Israel, in Guatemala! There is an donation box in the library at Kol Ami and there will be one at the High Holidays as well.
