Meeting the locals "This is our second exchange, the first a few months ago was also a huge success. My only regret is that I didn't know about Home Base Holidays years ago.
 
Visiting the other side of the world for a long 8 week vacation was a little daunting. From the get go everything was just amazing. From our hosts, the country, both of their properties and the weather. Christmas Day on the beach was novel.
 
We had family visit from Melbourne and that was another highlight. We are already looking at another exchange in Byron Bay for this coming Christmas. These lovely birds visited every day at Nelson Bay. To sum up. We leave tomorrow, and are taking all these lovely memories and experiences with us."  Sheena
