"We non simultaneously exchanged with Sally and Jerry in July 2014 for about 8 to 9 nights; they looked after our flat and cats beautifully. My Husband Phil and I visited Sri Lanka and Jungle Tide in Kandy in January 2015. The bungalow is set in a tea plantation high on a hill above Kandy. Caretakers / Managers of Jungle Tide, Martin and Rani, were amazing. Rani's cooking is amazing and Martin cannot do enough for you, getting supplies of beer and tonic water for us. All rooms are en suite and have patio doors which open onto a veranda, which in turn leads to a lawn and onto a pool. Jungle Tide is a very beautiful, clean and relaxing place to be. Thanks to Martin and Rani for making our stay so lovely, and thanks to Sally and Jerry for making this exchange possible. Although the majority of members are looking for holiday home swaps of one to four weeks, many members want longer period exchanges - often, retired people looking to be near grown-up children who live abroad and also those on work sabbaticals; but probably the greatest growth has been amongst location independent workers who can work anywhere in the world as long as they have access to a fast internet connection.
