Join the Countdown for Toyota Texas Music Revolution
Looking for some weekend fun and "real" country music, or as we like to call it, Texas Music? Enjoy 18 bands in two days, all for the low price of $50. The Toyota Texas Music Revolution (TTMR) in Plano's beautiful Oak Point Park is March 25-26.

If you like Texas Music, this lineup can't be beat. The headliners are Grammy Award winner Lee Ann Womack on Friday night and the amazing Stoney LaRue on Saturday night. Other performers include: Chris Knight, Mike Ryan, Zane Williams and The O's. Think about it... you can see all 18 bands over two days for less than what you would pay to see a single concert. Listen to KHYI 95.3 The Range for a taste of Texas music.

Hotels with special discounts are available for TTMR weekend. Uber drivers will also offer a special rate to take you where you need to go.

Texas Music Revolution is celebrating its 20th year and it's first year to rock Plano. Show them how Plano loves "real" country. Buy tickets here.

Where Will You Meet to See that Craigslist Car?
luxury_car.jpg
That sports car may look like a beauty in the picture but don't get more than you bargained for. Online sales sites, such as Craigslist and Facebook, come with a lot of risk of fraud or other types of crime. The Plano Police Department recommends you conduct online transactions in a public place during daylight hours or in a well-lit, high-traffic location. To help reduce the risk of crimes, we now have "transaction zones" where you can meet up with your online buyer or seller to conduct your transaction in either our police station lobby or parking lot. To use the lobby, you must do it during normal business hours. And need we say -- these locations are for legal transactions only.
