Muscoy Celebrates New Preschool Services Site and Library

Muscoy residents are celebrating the opening of the Baker Family Learning Center, a 10,000 square foot public library and preschool that will serve more than 10,600 residents in the unincorporated area of San Bernardino.
On Saturday, May 18, a dedication ceremony marked the opening day of the center at 2818 Macy Street in Muscoy. Fifth District Supervisor Josie Gonzales, County Librarian Leonard Hernandez and Preschool Services (PSD) Director Diana Alexander were among the speakers at the event.

Graduating from high school is a milestone accomplishment. Each year, the Independent Living Program sponsors a formal Senior Celebration, similar to a graduation party, to acknowledge and congratulate San Bernardino County foster youth who are graduating from high school.
Homeward Bound Mega Pet Adoption Event Finds Homes for Dogs and Cats

Animal Care and Control (ACC) kicked off their participation in the ASPCA Rachael Ray $100K Challenge by co-sponsoring the 2nd Annual Homeward Bound-Mega Pet Adoption event; other sponsors included the Humane Society of San Bernardino Valley, Yucaipa Animal Placement Society, Animals aRe First Fund (ARFF) and the San Bernardino County Regional Parks Department.
26th Annual Multi-Disciplinary Team Conference Fosters Independence

The Department of Aging and Adult Services (DAAS) and Adult Protective Services (APS) held its 26th Annual Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT) Conference on Monday, May 20, 2013 at the Goldy S. Lewis Community Center in Rancho Cucamonga. More than 250 attended the one-day conference.
