The Town of Surfside will celebrate Chinese New Year during 3rd Thursdays, the Town's free community block party, on Thursday at 7 pm. The next stop for 3rd Thursdays' trip around the world is Asia, just in time to celebrate the Year of the Sheep. The night will be filled with live music, food trucks and extra special performances from Ninja Break Dancers and traditional Lion Dance Performers.

The evening block party takes place on the third Thursday of each month between January and April from 7 pm to 9 pm. This family friendly event takes place on 95th Street between Collins Avenue and Harding Avenue (SR A1A) and is open to the public with no admission fee.
