"Ruth" the Surfside Turtle
Donated to Newtown, CT.
In the year-long planning of the community art project, Tales of the Surfside Turtles, organizers could not have envisioned that one of the fiberglass sculptures would end up in Newtown, CT. It is a gift from the Town of Surfside and the students at Ruth K. Broad/Bay Harbor K-8 Center serving as a memorial to the tragedy at the Sandy Hook Elementary School.
