This week we kicked off our campaign for the Spirit of Giving across PeaceHealth. We as caregivers are asked to reflect about our passions and consider giving from our personal resources to help promote the health of others through our PeaceHealth foundations.
For the first time, PeaceHealth Medical Group is one of the passions in the Spirit of Giving to which a donor may channel his/her contribution throughout all of our communities. With these proceeds, we'll have even more ways to care for our patients.
The Spirit of Giving allows caregivers to make a difference for patients in ways that often can be quite significant. In one clinic, care coordinators can give vouchers to patients who need assistance with the cost of insulin and/or travel. In another, providers perform procedures free of charge when patients just don't have the financial means. The Spirit of Giving also provides scholarships to caregivers seeking additional training for patient care.
We are looking to identify other worthy causes within the clinic context and we welcome your creative thoughts in this regard. Please send us your ideas by replying to this message.
Regardless of which passion you designate, I hope you find it in your heart to make a contribution to the Spirit of Giving. Learn more.
