Dr. Robin Virgin

I am excited and honored to be stepping into the role of Medical Director for Primary Care for PeaceHealth Medical Group. While the amount of work and change that is upon us is immense, I am pleased to be working with such caring and inspired community and system leaders.

It is also very important for me to continue to practice medicine. I am pleased that I will continue to be able to do this in my Vancouver practice, not only because I still draw immense joy from taking care of patients but also because I believe this will help me better represent the needs of providers and caregivers who are on the front line.

I am quickly coming up to speed with regards to the ongoing projects, and I'm especially interested in the work that transforms the way we care for patients in a way that promotes quality and patient safety.

Over the next several months, I look forward to joining Dr. Scott Foster as we visit your communities to talk with providers so we can better understand your successes and the challenges you face in your day-to-day lives. These are difficult times in health care and the only way we will be successful in meeting these challenges is by working together.
