 | Dr. Howard Graman |
I'm pleased to announce Michael Geist, MD, joins our Medical Group Leadership Team as a voting member.
As PHMG's Medical Director for Informatics and Epic Ambulatory physician lead, Dr. Geist offers experience, leadership and a passion for clinical medicine.
He and his wife Nancy Bischoff, MD - who is a PHMG pediatrician - live in Bellingham, Wash. with their three children. Dr. Geist is a graduate of the University of Washington School of Medicine, and the UW Internal Medicine Residency program. He's a Fellow of the American College of Physicians and a practicing primary care internist and hospitalist.
As a member of MGLT, Dr. Geist will oversee physician champions and builders who are helping providers improve their use of Epic. He will lead efforts to build templates and order sets that reduce variations in care, as well as augment the use of embedded point of care decision support tools. His goal continues to be focused on improving the delivery of care while enhancing the professional experience of providers and caregivers.
Furthermore, Dr. Geist will be instrumental in providing input into the Epic Enterprise build to ensure it coordinates well with the ambulatory build. MGLT welcomes Dr. Geist to our team.

2014 Provider Experience Pulse Survey
|
|
Thank you to all who took time to respond to our 2014 Provider Experience Pulse Survey. Your input is valuable as we continue to progress as a medical group. More than 44 percent of providers across the networks offered feedback and shared their experiences. We are especially pleased that we achieved the national median benchmark participation rate, so thanks again for taking time out of your busy schedules to share your insights. A special shout-out to the Florence community with 68 percent of providers completing the survey, and the Oregon West Network with 53 percent participation. Well done! Survey results will be available later this summer. We'll use them to evaluate our progress and what our focus should be moving forward. Thanks again for taking time to share your insight and experiences at PeaceHealth. More: Update on Caregiver Experience Pulse Survey »Final Provider Survey participation rates:
