Lent Reflections
Journey of grace and growth
The Center for Mission is offering daily reflections throughout the observance of Lent, the 40-day period of prayer, penance, sacrifice and good works before Easter. Click here each morning to receive a new inspirational reflection.
Note: Dr. Graman is away this week. Aaron Bryant is filling in with this week's message.

My name is Aaron Bryant, Director of Provider Recruitment & Services. I come to PeaceHealth with my most recent system-level experience as the Director of Provider Recruitment, Compensation & Contracting with Swedish Medical Group in Seattle. For five years, I led the provider recruitment, acquisition and integration team where we averaged 150 new provider hires per year.

I've been very impressed with the provider recruitment team here at PeaceHealth in my first month and I look forward to continuing to grow and develop the skills and capabilities of the group. In this last fiscal year, the team has recruited an impressive 115 providers; and I am confident they possess the skill and acumen to do even more.

As part of our aggressive agenda, we will be focusing heavily on process improvement. We will improve both the candidate's recruitment experience on the front end as well as take our service levels and expertise to the next level of sophistication for our hiring managers. Furthermore, we will take major steps to improve the efficiency and experience of credentialing and enrollment for our incoming providers.

The team is also very excited to be working closely on new affiliation relationships with partners like United General by providing recruiting services. We are excited to see what new partnerships may be on the horizon for PHMG in the future!

I am truly looking forward to working with all of you and am very excited at the direction PHMG is heading. If you need to reach me directly, please feel free: 360.729.2551 or ABryant3@peacehealth.org.

Provider Experience
Pulse Survey coming soon
As mentioned in last week's PHMG Weekly, we will soon launch a short survey intended to take the pulse of providers and allied health professionals. The three-week survey period is scheduled to begin the week of April 28.

This confidential survey will be brief with a focused look at how the medical group has responded to our 2012 provider survey.

We want to hear from you, and this survey is intended to be completed within 10-15 minutes. It's important for providers to participate and to provide insight into their experience at PeaceHealth.

Our goal is to receive 60% participation by the end of the survey period. We'll have a friendly competition between our networks and communities for achieving the highest level of participation.

This survey is part of our larger PeaceHealth experience program. Non-providers will also have an opportunity to participate in a Caregiver Pulse Survey, while PeaceHealth patients are asked to share their experiences in a survey, as well.

More details concerning this survey will be announced as we get closer to the survey launch.
