As a medical group, we've been experiencing several "firsts" over the past several months. Soon, we expect to launch one of the most significant--our first "master plan" as a single medical group.
You might have seen information about the development of this strategic plan in past leadership reports and previous issues of the
Weekly. The plan was recently approved by the PeaceHealth Executive Team and will soon go to the PeaceHealth Board for review.
The overall thrust of the plan is to make PeaceHealth Medical Group stand out as the provider of choice in our communities--for patients, providers and caregivers. It means making it easier for patients to receive the kind of care they need, where and when they need it. It's also about using tools to effectively manage our offices--freeing up our providers to focus on areas that require their level of expertise while giving other caregivers in the office the opportunity and support to work at the tops of their licenses.
There are a number of facets to support these goals. We look forward to sharing more of the details in the plan once the board has weighed in. In the meantime, the entire leadership team welcomes your questions and thoughts. You are an important part of this group and its success.
