PeaceHealth Physicians & Providers,

Dr. Howard Graman
Dr. Howard Graman
If there's a prevailing theme in health care, it's change. With health-care reform, different care models, shifting reimbursement trends and emerging technologies--among other things--it will be a while before things settle down.

The same will be true for PeaceHealth as we become a more tightly integrated health system and align accountability for our work. As you might have seen earlier this week, I emailed a new leadership structure for the medical group that puts the emphasis on physician leadership and moves us toward PeaceHealth's Network of Care structure. (Read announcement. View chart.)

These evolutionary steps are all consistent with our intention to be successful as we move from "pay for volume" to "pay for value".

Diabetes Quality Bundle
Provider-Level Reports Coming Soon
Clinic- and provider-level reports for the VISTA Diabetes Quality Bundle will be distributed on February 6. This information will support the diabetes-blood-sugar-meter development of action plans in our networks for performance improvement as we strive to achieve our fiscal year targets.

This is the first of several communications that will be published in PHMG Weekly to keep providers and care teams informed about our progress going forward. In the meantime, the system and regional percentages are available on the PeaceHealth Performance Dashboard. (If you don't have access to the dashboard, please talk to your clinic manager.)

Thank you all for your patience and understanding as these long-awaited reports are finalized. If you have any questions, please contact David Killaby.
