PeaceHealth Physicians & Providers,

Dr. Howard Graman
Dr. Howard Graman
Some good news this week is from CMS that could save PeaceHealth hundreds of thousands of dollars this year. (Details below)

PeaceHealth was among several organizations that requested a review of the rules on e-Prescribe penalties last fall.

I like to think our voice made a difference and that it pays to speak up.

News on e-Prescribe
January 31 Deadline to Avoid Penalty
A recent ruling by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid (CMS) means PHMG's "eligible providers" (under HITECH) won't be penalized for not e-Prescribing this year--but only if they are registered for the EHR Incentive Program by the end of this month.

If you are contacted by PHMG Provider Services to assist with the registration process, please respond promptly so that the registration can be completed by January 31.
