2013 promises to be a big year for the medical group -- and the organization as a whole -- with the Epic ambulatory implementation starting this spring, work to align financial accountability for PHMG, due diligence in our partnership with Catholic Health Initiatives & the business plan development for Epic Enterprise. PHMG started 2013 with a major step toward transparency in the area of patient experience. Providers who receive CG-CAHPS scores now have online access to their own data as well as data for the entire medical group from NRC Picker, our survey vendor. In the coming months, we aim to provide you additional relevant and timely information about other aspects of medical group operations. Our goal is to help you in your practice and with patient care.

Project Team Begins Go-Live Preparations
|
With testing of the software close to complete, the Epic Project team is looking to go-live preparations. 
User acceptance testing, day-in-the-life sessions, e-learnings, classroom education and dress rehearsals are among the next steps. Provider productivity and documentation methods in Epic were shared with all PHMG last month. The latest issue of Epic News features the most common reporting tools in Epic that will readily give clinic caregivers and operational teams useful information.
