Kiwimbi Kenya Approved as an NGO!
We are thrilled to announce that Kiwimbi Kenya, our organization operating in Kenya, has just received approval of its non-governmental organization (NGO) registration. Kiwimbi Kenya's NGO status enhances its legal status and standing as a humanitarian organization operating in Kenya. NGO status is equivalent to Kiwimbi International's status as a 501(c)(3) in the US.
As an NGO, Kiwimbi Kenya will be able to operate with greater flexibility within Kenya and will be able to own land. Its NGO status supports the long term nature of Kiwimbi's work to provide opportunity through education in Kenya. To learn more about NGO's, Click here.
