As we usher in a New Year, the staff, volunteers and Board of Directors here at Seafarer's Friend are preparing for a year of opportunity to extend our reach out into the churches in our community of supporters. Our Chaplains are eager to come and share the great work of Seafarer's Friend with your church, your small group or Men & Women's Fellowship group. A Season of Giving

We were so blessed to be able to share so many Ditty Bags with seafarers over the holidays. Your generosity brought many smiles to lonely seafarers who were longing to be home.
In Memory of Rev. Phil Gage

We were saddened to learn of the passing of our dear friend Rev. Phil Gage this past month. Rev. Gage served our mission in Portland as a volunteer chaplain/ship visitor and served on our Board of Directors. His life served as an example to us all and he will be greatly missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family during this time. View Obituary Here
Ship Visiting

Our Chaplains were busy throughout the month of December with ship visiting, sharing ditty bags and bringing seafarers into town to stretch their sea legs on land. 
We are always open to having our supporters join us on a ship visit. Please contact us to schedule a visit.
