Shopping As a Sensory Experience
Understanding the hallmarks of effective retail design is critical to creating a retail space that truly works. It all revolves around a clear understanding of what you have to offer and knowing who your customer is.
For a quick check on how well you're hitting your mark, start out by determining the message you want your store to present. Is it forward, edgy, traditional, polished, inspirational, artful, crafty, straightforward or utilitarian? How are you communicating this to your customers? Retailworks, Inc. welcomes Heather Dorsey to our team! Heather joins us as our new Social Media Director. She'll be managing our social media accounts, as well as our blog, website, and e-newsletter. She feels up to the task of being the lone writer in a sea of designers and acknowledges that she appreciates how we "make her words look pretty."
Heather has a background in sales, writing, and marketing, and other than living seven years up in the land of the Vikings, she has been a lifelong resident of Wisconsin, primarily in Milwaukee, and also in her college years in Madison. We are happy to have her as part of the team.
