"Inner healing" is the spiritual process that is ministered through the Word of God and the Holy Spirit. Many Christians, believers who are even born again, who are sealed in the promise of eternal life and filled with the Holy Spirit; are nevertheless bound in spiritual chains to their past. Roots of bitterness become deeply embedded into the mind and heart of an infected person, and these malevolent sources manifest in people as sickness, bad habits, depression, feelings of rejection, sexual bondages, fear, and insecurities. Unforgiveness, likely the biggest obstacle in the Body of Christ today, is an open door for the enemy of our souls to destroy, manipulate, or control our spiritual, emotional and physical lives. There is no time or space in the emotions. That which captured a person's peace in the past, either during childhood, as an adult, or even from past generations, is still in force in a person in their present and aimed like a missile of destruction at one's future... unless it is exposed, uprooted and destroyed !
