CCAE Members and Friends,
I hope you've had a restful summer break and are now anxious to begin the work ahead of us in the new school year.
The CCAE State Board has been busy this summer, working on new membership benefits and ideas to support our work at the state level:
North/South Regional Meetings:
At the most recent CCAE State Conference, we received feedback that K-12 Regional Consortia Leadership wanted to meet with other leaders in the state to discuss and compare consortia concerns and issues. In response to this field input, we quickly convened two regional meetings before the end of the school year; one in the north and one in the south. The response was so positive that CCAE will continue to hold these meetings, quarterly. Information and feedback can now be found on the CCAE website at http://www.ccaestate.org/aebg-resources.
Platinum Institutional Membership:
CCAE is offering a new Institutional Membership level for adult schools/districts--the Platinum Membership. Current Institutional Members already support CCAE's Mission of providing state-wide advocacy for adult education, recognition of excellence in teaching and support services, and quality staff development. In addition, Institutional Members are acknowledged on the state website and in the conference program, and they also receive an Institutional Membership Certificate. Renewing at the new Platinum Institutional Membership level will guarantee that your school continues to receive these same benefits in 2016-2017, as well as receiving the new Platinum logo for display on your website and letterhead, plus CCAE membership benefits for 2 educators or administrators, AND membership for 15 students!
Go Fund Me campaign: Also new this year is our Go Fund Me campaign to provide additional CCAE scholarships to Adult Education students in need. Learn more HERE.
CCAE lapel pins: With the redesign of the CCAE logo a couple of years ago, we neglected to create a new membership pin. A year ago, a new lapel pin was quietly designed and rolled out. NOW is the time to get on board with your new CCAE logo lapel pin. At $5.00, the new pin costs the same as previous membership pins and is quite attractive. Added benefit: no pin holes will be created in your clothing because the fastener is now magnetic. You may order one either when renewing your annual membership or by contacting your Section President.
HotelStorm: This year we are adding a Membership opportunity to our suite of benefits! This new benefit enables members to access extremely discounted hotel rates and is brought to you by HotelStorm, exclusive to CCAE members. Get all the details HERE.

To ensure that you don't miss any important developments, please remember to renew your CCAE Membership for the year, if you haven't done so already (for those of you on Payroll Deduction, there's nothing to do). Remember: CCAE is the only professional organization that represents EVERYONE with an interest in Adult Education---teachers, support staff, administrators, retirees, students, and friends.
