CHAIR YOGA & PIYO

Tuesday, June 28 @ 6 PM

Chair Yoga- Ages Adult. A yoga class designed to help students stay healthy, vibrant and confident by practicing chair yoga. These classes help maintain mobility, improve flexibility, cultivate mindfulness, and increase body awareness. Use of a chair for support - Designed to older adults.

PIYO Yoga- Ages 11 and Up. An athletic workout inspired by Pilates and Yoga. The class incorporates stretching, strength-training, conditioning and dynamic movement all coordinated to fun, up tempo music! Be sure to bring water and a towel.

Make a splash in our Water Wars! Wear clothes you don't mind getting wet, bring a towel, and maybe a change of clothes, too! We'll have a water balloon fight and other water activities! This program will be outside.

Ready to Read Literacy Kits

New resources encourage early literacy practices at home--check one out or put yours on hold now!

The Ready to Read Literacy Kits offer parents and caregivers the opportunity to learn and practice the five early literacy practices of Every Child Ready to Read 2.0 established by the American Library Association. Each kit centers on a theme and contains two books and three activities that help cultivate early literacy. The themes are:

Arts
Sports
Animals
Machines
Summer

Each kit also contains directions as well as a brochure explaining Every Child Ready to Read 2.0 and a short survey.

Kits check out for 1 week with no renewals, and can be put on hold.
