We're Looking for a Few Good Volunteers!

Hola!  We're having a fiesta - a book fair fiesta! We need volunteers to assist our guests in purchasing items at our book fair.  The book fair runs Monday, June 9 - Monday, June 16 with flexible shifts.  Please follow this link to sign-up or contact Amie at [email protected] for more information.  Gracias!

You've worked all night on that last-minute project only to realize that your printer is out of ink.  Sound familiar?  We're here to help! Visit our new  "BPL Print2Go" site, upload your document, and we'll take care of the rest!  We'll print standard documents (duplexed or single-sided) in black and white ($.10/page) or color ($.25/page) and put them at our Customer Service desk for pick-up.  For more information contact our Customer Service staff at (317) 852-3167, option 1 or visit our web site at www.brownsburg.lib.in.us.

Help us win the Overdrive Challenge! During the month of June, we can win money to help build our downloadable collection or other great prizes from Overdrive! All you need to do is start downloading our free eBooks and eAudiobooks from Overdrive! For help, contact Information Services at (317) 852-3167, option 2 or visit an "Ask Me" desk.

We are also participating in the Big Library Read through Overdrive again this year! Big Library Read is an international program that gives libraries and library patrons unlimited simultaneous access to a popular title during the program dates, creating a virtual, global book club. Interested patrons will be able borrow A Pedigree to Die For using a valid library card, and read on all major computers and devices, including iPhone, iPad, Nook, Android™ phones and tablets, and Kindlewithout worrying about wait lists or holds. Titles will automatically expire at the end of the lending period, and best of all, there are no late fees!
The Big Library Read program is made possible through a partnership between OverDrive, the leading supplier of eBooks and more to libraries, and Kensington Publishing Corp., publisher of Laurien Berenson's unusual and fascinating mystery.
Library card holders will be able to borrow and read the mystery eBook, A Pedigree to Die For, Book 1 of the Melanie Travis Mystery Series by Laurien Berenson, starting June 3 and concluding the morning of June 18 (US EST) by visiting
our Overdrive collection online!
