There's just a few spots left as the Blount Partnership and the Tennessee Small Business Development Center present Nick Meals, with Coulter & Justus, P.C. His topic will be "What Are They Changing Now? - A Tax Update." The presentation is an update for the federal and state tax law changes and will include various aspects of health care law changes and how they will affect businesses and individuals specifically.
 
It will be Friday, Nov. 22, at the Blount County Chamber from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. Cost, which includes lunch, for Chamber members is $15. Non-members $25.

FANTASY OF TREES SNEAK PREVIEW IS NEXT WEEK
East Tennessee Children's Hospital is offering Chamber members a sneak preview of its annual Fantasy of Trees event at the Knoxville Convention Center on Wednesday, Nov. 27 at 8 a.m.
 
You will receive on ticket (per Chamber member) and have the ability to shop for holiday decor before anyone else. RSVP to Jessica Boyd with your name, name of your business and list yourself as a Blount County Chamber member.

BECOME AN AMBASSADOR TO AID TOURISTS
Do you work in the tourism sector? Do you meet visitors in your position?
 
Then you need to become a certified Blount Tourism Ambassador where you'll learn facts about Blount County and this unique region that will help you better serve your customers, provide accurate information and give the "inside story" about our individual communities.
