Blount Partnership News & Events

Things are really picking up around the Chamber as we prepare for two huge events in September in Taste of Blount and the Townsend Fall Festival. In the meantime, there's still plenty happening in August with the Alcoa Legislative Briefing, the Lunch Box Series with Heather Ripley and coffee club hosted by Smithview Pavilion. So peruse the newsletter for these and other community events.

Additionally, we are looking to enhance our member benefits and services for 2014. If your business is interested in partnering with the Chamber on an affinity program (ie. Office Depot) or offer a service to the membership, please send us the details of what you can offer. We'd love to hear from you and your ideas.

REMEMBER WHEN
We venture back to the week of Aug. 19, 1978 when the Commodores topped the Billboard No. 1 singles chart with "Three Times a Lady." I bet you didn't know that the members of the group met as mostly freshmen at Tuskegee Institute (now Tuskegee University) in 1968, and signed with Motown in November 1972.
