What an event Primetime was last week. The food was awesome with more than 15 vendors. We had 150 businesses and nearly 400 people attend this fun event. Here's some photos and a video. Check them out.
COFFEE CLUB
Don't forget about Coffee Club this Thursday at 7:45 a.m. hosted by Alcoa Chiropractic Center (247 East Watt Street Alcoa). They are offering a complementary chair massage. Is there a better way to start your day than with a cup of coffee and quick massage? I think not.
BYLD SOCIAL
So come mix and mingle with each other and continue to lead and develop our community as we want it. We will be having gatherings, socials, etc., on the last Thursday of every month.

PUBLIC WORKSHOPS FOR MARYVILLE-TO-TOWNSEND GREENWAY PLANNING
You're invited to a workshop to help plan a new trail link in Blount County.
Maryville/Alcoa and Townsend already have some terrific trails. Wouldn't it be great to link them together?
Come on out to one of the workshops on April 10 and 11. You'll hear about the opportunities and challenges of creating a greenway trail from Maryville to Townsend. You'll get a chance to take a walk on a nearby trail and tell us what features you'd like the new greenway to have. And you'll be able to ask questions about the plan and the process.
Public workshops are from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., April 10 at the Townsend Visitors Center and April 11 at the Maryville Municipal Building. We leave for the greenway walk at 6, so don't be left behind! (And be sure to wear comfortable shoes.)
There will also be two stakeholder workshops, from 9 to 11:30 a.m. and from 1:30 to 4 p.m., on April 11 at the Maryville Municipal Building. These will be a bit longer than the public workshops and are aimed at certain stakeholder groups, but the public is invited as well.
