The Chamber's Primetime networking event is getting closer, just one week away on March 19 from 4-7 p.m. at the Cooper Athletic Center on the Maryville College campus.
More than 300 people are attending and 120 businesses have signed up with numerous giveaways. If you'd like to attend this FREE event, please RSVP to Amy. We are trying to get a count for how much food to order. You know how it goes for large events. :)

On Thursday, March 14 from 9 a.m.-noon at the Blount County Chamber office located at 201 S. Washington St., in Maryville, Paul Middlebrooks, Marketing Consultant for the UT Procurement Technical Assistance Center will discuss how to do business with the federal government, the U.S. Small Business Administration's 8(a) Business Development Program, Small Disadvantaged Business Program, and Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HUBZone) Initiative. The Blount Partnership, in conjunction with Pellissippi State, is offering a three-day 10-hour OSHA class March 12-14 from 8 a.m.-noon at the Pellissippi State Blount County Campus located at 2731 W. Lamar Alexander Pkwy., Friendsville, TN 37737.

Since the Chamber Social that was scheduled for Tuesday, March 12 was canceled, it has been replaced with a ribbon cutting and reception for High Road Digital at Sullivan's in downtown Maryville at 5:30 p.m.
High Road Digital is also holding a FREE Digital Media Strategy Seminar at the Chamber office on Wednesday, March 13 at 7:30 a.m., 11 a.m. and 1 p.m., with lunch provided.
The call is going out for volunteers to help with the H.O.G. Rally May 28-June 2. If you would like to help in any way putting on this huge event please Email Claire with your name and contact info.
