Friday Night - Live Music and Grilling Music starts at 5:30 This week, featuring
Dave Bartley Aaron Dean
Keyboard/Vocals Saxophone
David's musical career includes scoring original music for film, video, and radio productions. After relocating to New England in 1999, David spent seven years working with at-risk youth, creating the music department at The Academy at Swift River in Plainfield and Cummington. David now devotes all his professional time to music, teaching private lessons and appearing locally as a soloist and in jazz ensembles throughout Western Mass.
Aaron studied jazz at Westfield State. He is a regular member of several music projects, including Gruppo Mondo, a jazz/funk/fusion group well known in Berkshire County, the Corvettes, the Van Morrison tribute show "Moondance," and Misty Blues. He also performs in multiple lineups of jazz, blues, and rock musicians throughout New England. He is the original reed player with the early Blue Jazz recordings and continues to lend an irrepressible energy and thoughtfulness to the Blue Jazz shows.
