Roasted Tomatillo Salsa Verde
Remove tomatillo husks and rinse.
Broil tomatillos, garlic, and optional ingredients (onions, chilies, whatever you like in salsa) on broiler rack 1 to 2 inches from heat, turning once, until tomatillos are softened and slightly charred (about 7 minutes).
Peel garlic and pull tops off chilies if used.
Mix all ingredients in a food processor or blender to desired consistency.
Add salt and lemon to taste. Enjoy!

Friday Night - Live Music and Grilling Music starts at 5:30
This week, featuring The Gary Miller / David Banulis Duo
GARY MILLER is a graduate of Berklee College of Music, jazz vibraphonist, and composer who has performed in concerts, clubs, and gallery openings, on radio and television, and in the recording studio. Gary is a Western Mass. resident who recently retired as the Director of Music and the Chair of the Expressive Arts at Miss Hall's School in Pittsfield. He's released four CDs, three of which are solo albums on which he plays all instruments.
DAVID BANULIS is a lifelong guitar player who studied with Barry Galbraith, among others. Dave has developed the tap technique of playing as well as the more traditional plectrum style. He explores different guitar sounds and textures through playing acoustic, electric six-string, and electric twelve-string guitars. Dave also plays the six-string electric bass tuned like a guitar, which allows him to incorporate chords and multiple lines in his bass playing. He performs regularly with several different groups throughout Western Mass. and Vermont.

Saturday Lunch - Live Music and Grilling
Grilling starts at 11:00
Ribs and kabobs
(shrimp, veggie, or chicken),
local grass-fed burgers, and more!
Music starts at 11:30
Featuring Ray Mason
"Ray is one of those musicians who seems to have always been around: serving as the opening act for any number of headliners (particularly in his home region of New England), releasing a handful of well-received indie albums, contributing to numerous compilations. For something like four decades he's done this while evading the fame game--Mason's still out there because there's nothing he'd rather do. 'A Man and His Silvertone' is his tenth album overall, and while it's not the first to be credited solely to him, as opposed to the Ray Mason Band, it is his first true solo album, just Mason and his steady companion, his 1965 Silvertone guitar."
--Jeff Tamarkin, AllMusic.com
Ray has been touring tirelessly for decades, averaging 100 shows a year, and opening for some pretty class acts.
