Member-Owner Appreciation Days
In the spring and fall we will let Member-Owners pick one of two days that will work best for them. In the warmer months we need to schedule appreciation days away from the busy Creamery weekends.
For 2015 Member-Owner Appreciation days will be:
Sunday or Monday - March 29th or 30th
Saturday, June 6th
Friday, Aug 14th
Sunday or Monday - November 8th or 9th
Mark your calendars
On Appreciation Days Member-Owners of the Co-op receive 10% off all day*
Not a Co-op member? Join NOW and get your 10% off.
* Tobacco, alcohol, newspapers, and items from the Little Gallery excluded.

Get your Irish Up - Next Tuesday is St Patrick's Day
Next Monday night and Tuesday we will be serving generous plates of Noel's New England Boiled Dinner - corned beef, carrots, onions, potatoes and cabbage.
We will have shamrock sugar cookies, chocolate stout cupcakes, and Peri Kelly's famous Irish soda bread for sale.
The soda bread sells fast so call and reserve a loaf to make sure you don't miss this delicious annual treat.
And in our cooler...

Keep Farming in the Hilltowns
Keep Farming - Farmers Luncheon March 22
This Sunday the Hilltown CDC is hosting a pot luck luncheon to introduce area farmers to the Keep Farming in the Hilltowns initiative. If you are a Hilltown Farmer please join us at noon in the Cummington Community House
This will be a great opportunity to network with other farmers, enjoy great local food, and make your voices heard about what you think is needed to support farming in the Hilltowns.
The Creamery will be providing meat lasagna made with Wheelview Farm beef, and Mac and Cheese made with Grace Hill Farm cheese. We look forward to seeing many of the Hilltown farmers this Sunday.

Creamery Logo Travel Mugs
Assorted colors are back including a stunning new "obsidian black" Co-op Member-Owner Shirley Todd sent us a note
The Creamery travel mugs are worth every penny. I traveled for over 2 hours and the coffee remained hot . The mug is superior to any I have used before, great design, the sip lip is thin, just right for enjoying a hot drink in this cold weather.

Enjoy a video about why the Creamery matters
In the fall of 2013 WGBY produced and aired a wonderful segment on our beloved Creamery.
The producer of this segment, Tony Dunne told us "The Old Creamery is truly a special place... but I don't have to tell you that! Now it's my job to share that story with our viewers. I hope I do it justice!"
We think Toni did a fine job.
re-broadcast this segment this past week.
Enjoy it HERE We certainly loved seeing it again.

For $49 today we can Control our Communications Destiny
- Western Mass towns can finally control their access to high speed communications.
- WiredWest is a regional cooperative started in 2010 to bring affordable broadband to every home and business.
This effort is a partnership between you, the participating Towns and the Commonwealth
- The commonwealth has completed the installation of a $71.6M fiber optic backbone that is now serving municipalities in Wired West towns. This "backbone" provides the needed infrastructure to deliver fiber to households and businesses in each of our surrounding towns.
- The Commonwealth has appropriated up to $50 million in funding to help build the "last mile" fiber optic network - to connect to all homes and services in participating towns.
- There are 32 towns in the WiredWest network, including all of the core towns served by the Old Creamery Co-op
- WiredWest towns need to individually approve and support bond/borrowing authorizations at upcoming town meetings to cover the town's portion of the last mile network build out.
- If you support having this project move forward you need to vote with your credit card or check and commit $49. This action will signal that you want and need high speed services to your homes and businesses. 40% of the households in a town must sign up - ideally by the end of April 2015 - for the town to qualify to be part of the regional network.
(Note: Your $49 will be held in an escrow account and fully refunded if Wired West for any reason does not happen in your town)
- This last step is the most important and will let your town know that committing to the required financing investment in Wired West will be economically safe, and important to our wonderful Western Mass towns.
Click HERE to place your $49 vote
Click HERE to Like Wired West on Facebook
Check HERE and then on TOWNS to see if your town can be one of the first with 40% of household signed up.
