Moreno Valley residents were treated to two events on Memorial Day. West Coast Thunder rolled into Moreno Valley at approximately 10:15 a.m. For nearly an hour, residents who lined up along Sunnymead Boulevard between Frederick Street and Heacock Street were able to be part of something special. Reports say nearly 10,000 bikers registered for this regionally significant event. The West Coast Thunder Bike Run is a fundraising effort supporting Riverside National Cemetery efforts to honorably, and respectfully bury indigent and lower-income veterans.
