Specific goals and objectives for the session for the presentation include:
- How to identify the needed references, resources and practical approaches to quantify future parking demand for a mixed use development;
- Techniques for minimizing the number of new parking spaces needed; and
- Ways to effectively meet the concerns of local citizens and the institution itself with respect to accessing new campus destinations while preserving the fabric of the surrounding community

This interactive presentation will be led by members of the IPI Sustainability committee. The co-presenters
will share 30 minutes of tailored sustainability content. The presentation will focus on a variety of topics, particular sectors (healthcare, municipal, etc.) and will offer national level educational content. The presentation will be followed by 30 minutes of Q & A on sustainability topics from the presentation, or wherever the session leads us. This is a forum to capture valuable regional information on sustainability, trends, and best practices, and share relevant experience and case studies.
