Mason Construction hosted an event at the Event Centre to celebrate their 75th Anniversary Thursday evening and the previous week at the same location Merrill Lynch celebrated 100 years in Beaumont. We send our congratulations to both companies for their staying power and ongoing success in our community.

On Thursday, November 6, 2014, the Recreation, Health & Fitness group of the 43rd Class of Leadership Beaumont presented their "Commit to be Fit" program downtown outside the Beaumont Civic Center.

The quarterly joint luncheon we coordinate between local government organizations and the executive committee of the Greater Beaumont Chamber of Commerce was held on last Friday at the Beaumont Country Club. Congressman Randy Weber joined the group for the discussion and updates on local issues.

State Representative-Elect Dade Phelan, Representative Joe Deshotel, and State Senator Brandon Creighton participated in a panel discussion at the November 6 Membership Luncheon held Thursday at the Holiday Inn Plaza. Close to 180 attended the event aimed at welcoming our new state government delegation and to begin the focus on the coming legislative session. View the pictures on facebook!
