Jim Rich attended the 2014 Annual Conference of the Texas Economic Development Council in Houston, on last Wednesday through Friday. The Southeast Texas Economic Development Foundation was one of the community sponsors. There were seven general sessions and six breakout sessions on a variety of topics with workforce development for economic success as the overall theme. The region was well represented by economic development professionals.
