We're looking for a few new bike commuters!
Bike to Work Day has always been about creating a movement, a movement that takes place one commuter at a time. We organize a fun day with high visibility for bike commuters so people who have never tried biking for transportation anything beyond recreation feel bold enough to give it a try. Once they try it, they just might find they like it, and then they feel brave enough to do it again on a day when free breakfast isn't on offer.
The more people ride bikes instead of driving alone, the cleaner our air gets, the healthier our bodies get, the less congested our roads get. The more registrations we get, the more policy makers take notice.
