Our Christmas Luncheon included a little friendly completion with a food drive to raise donations for the Emergency Assistance Center on 87th and Antioch.  Our team's efforts and the competition between co-workers resulted in 962 donated items for the pantry.

HarenLaughlin matched the donation to ensure the shelves stay stocked beyond the holiday season.

National National Safety Recognition CSEA

Congratulations to our team for receiving two safety awards this March.

The National Construction Safety Excellence Awards (CSEA) recognize those construction companies who excel at safety performance. CSEA closely examines each candidate's commitment to safety and occupational health management and risk control. The selection process for this national awards program is very comprehensive and standards very stringent. This is the first time in our firm's history that HarenLaughlin Construction was selected as a finalist, and finished 3rd nationally in our division.

In addition to CSEA award, HarenLaughlin was also named a Second Place Award Winner in the Builders' Association Safety Excellence Award competition.  This marks the third consecutive year that HarenLaughlin has been recognized by the Builders' Assocation for our safety program - a direct reflection of the efforts of our team.

Congratulations to our team for this recognition and thank you for all your hard work!

We discuss safety daily at HarenLaughlin.  It's our culture and a part of our everyday job site conversation. Nothing could have made me more proud than to have our company, for the first time in our 81 year history, qualify for the AGC's National Construction Safety Excellence Award program.  To qualify, a recommendation was required from our local AGC chapter. From this recommendation, HarenLaughlin was selected as a national finalist.

The review panel recognized the excellent job each of our team does in maintaining a safe work environment.  We realize that our team's work with us is only a part of their day. It is our goal, EVERY day, to send them home safely to their families. I was pleased to stand before the review panel to share that for nearly six years, we've been successful in doing so.

Congratulations to our team for their contribution to this success.  We came home from this competition as 3rd in the COUNTRY in what is the most competitive category.  There are more general contractors of our size than any other competing in this group. This recognition says something about how we do business and what values we hold to be most important - safety and quality.

While we appreciate the recognition of our efforts awards like these provide, the most important thing still remains having our team return safely to their families at the end of the day. Thank you to all of our team for their continued efforts to continue to work safely on every job site every day -
